Summary

Short research project within one of our laboratories in chemistry at SCGC.

Content

The practical education at the master in Molecular and Biological Chemistry is taking place in research laboratories at ISIC or elsewhere. Students are expected to contact the research group leaders to find a project.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, the student must be able to:

  • Conduct A simple theoritical or practical project

Transversal skills

  • Use a work methodology appropriate to the task.
  • Keep appropriate documentation for group meetings.
  • Take responsibility for environmental impacts of her/ his actions and decisions.
  • Take responsibility for health and safety of self and others in a working context.
  • Respect relevant legal guidelines and ethical codes for the profession.
  • Take feedback (critique) and respond in an appropriate manner.
  • Access and evaluate appropriate sources of information.
  • Collect data.

Assessment methods

A report and an oral presentation are optional for project Ia. It is recommended by the section, but final decision lie into the supervisor hands for the evaluation and mark attribution.
